The AAC 123 Soft Duo by HAY fuses the natural elegance and character of the four-legged wooden base with the softness and warmth of the quilted shell. Retaining the same high backrest and generous seat that characterises the series, this design features a solid base with angled legs that slant slightly outwards for optimal stability. This modern chair allows you to mix and match materials and colours on the front of the chair and also the back from the available fabric options shown. The HAY 'AAC 100' series is comprised of large dining or task chairs for environments where uncompromising comfort is required.

The 'Soft' range of HAY AAC chairs features gathered/pleated upholstery on the backrest. This aesthetic feature gives the chair more domestic appeal and helps it complement a home setting.

The wood base is available in different finishes and the quilted shell is offered in a variety of upholstery options, providing a multitude of design combinations that give this series versatility in a wide range of corporate, public and private contexts. Also available is the AAC 123 Soft Duo chair, where the back is upholstered in a contrasting material.
