The Cover Armchair for Muuto by designer Thomas Bentzen is a modern reinterpretation of the classic wooden armchair and adds a new perspective to this traditional Nordic piece of furniture.
Cover has a rounded moulded plywood seat and back and four solid oak legs which give the chair a strong and grounded expression, yet the armchair is unexpectedly light. The Cover Armchair is available with an upholstered seat and also in a non-upholstered version. Cover works well around a dining table, as a desk chair, in a restaurant, in a hotel room, or by itself just to add a modern touch to any room.
The Cover Armchair pairs well with the Upholstered Cover Armchair and compliments the Cover Lounge chair and Cover Side Chair from the same Muuto product family.
Thomas Benzen on the design: "Cover is born from a desire to create a comfortable and contemporary armchair in wood. I aimed for a crisp and vivid expression in the plywood while looking for a solid and grounded look in the frame and base of the chair. Three years of play and hard work in the making has resulted in a light, yet strong armchair, playing and taking the moulded veneer to its extreme."

The back and seat of the Cover Armchair are made from moulded oak plywood, alongside its legs in solid oak, all in a PU lacquer. Plastic glides included. Option of pre-mounted felt glides upon request for order above 50 chairs.
