Designed by Simon Legald, the Rar is a minimal sofa collection defined by a clean and balanced silhouette. The name Rar comes from the Danish word 'rar', meaning pleasant. It reflects the sofa’s inviting character. The collection includes an armchair, a 2-seater sofa and a 3-seater sofa, offering flexible seating options for different spaces.
Constructed from a combination of pine and chipboard, the frame is reinforced with wood and padded with PU foam for comfort. The sofa is available upholstered in two textile options and one leather option. With this reduced selection the sofa is always ready to ship from Denmark; ideal for projects which require excellent design, but are short on time.
Slim armrests and a clean linear form give the sofa a light and balanced appearance. Slender black metal legs lift the sofa from the floor, creating an almost hovering appearance and allowing easy access for cleaning underneath. Plush back cushions and a generously padded seat enhance the sofa’s relaxed and inviting character. For a softer look, pair the sofa with matching cushions.
