Based on the original Rey Collection designed by Swiss designer Bruno Rey in 1971, HAY has teamed up with Dietiker to relaunch the Rey Table. Featuring Dietiker's unique 'screwless' wood-to-metal connection, the iconic table has an uncluttered silhouette with angled legs that balance the distinctively rounded edges.

Its simplicity, solid construction and functional design give it a timeless quality that makes it suitable for use in a wide variety of domestic, public, educational or corporate settings. The table comfortably seats up to 4 people with its 120 cm diameter tabletop. It is constructed using a chipboard core and comes with the option of a laminate or veneer tabletop. The edges are finished with ABS or veneer, while the table is supported by solid beech legs. The table is available in a range of original colours as well as carefully selected new tones by HAY.

We suggest pairing the table with either a HAY Rey Chair or Rey Chair Upholstered to complete the look.

    Bruno Rey

    This product is designed by
    Bruno Rey

Bruno Rey was born in 1933 Brugg, Switzerland. After an apprenticeship as a cabinetmaker, he studied at the Zurich School of Applied Arts, where he attended classes with the pioneering designer Willy Guhl. He opened his own studio in 1968, working on an innovative chair design that was mass produced in 1971 by Dietiker in Stein am Rhein. 3300 as the chair was originally called, later became known as Rey, the most successful Swiss chair of all time. HAY has collaborated with Dietiker to present the Rey Collection by Bruno Rey, comprising the Rey Chair, Rey Stool and Bar Stool, and Rey Table and Coffee Table.
