The Ridge Vase for Muuto was designed by Helsinki-based Studio Kaksikko, Saila Luhtasela and Wesley Walters, who specialise in ceramic tableware and wooden furniture. The idea for the Ridge Vase came while traveling through different cities with a vase in mind, eventually finding inspiration in Paris. The vertical lines and unique shape were inspired by a Parisian doorway.
The Ridge Vase is perfectly suited for housing a bunch of flowers, but can easily be displayed as an ornamental piece itself, due to its sculptural character when not in use. The oval form is juxtaposed by the refined dent which adds a level of functionality for moving the vase from one room to another.

Care Instructions:- If you need to clean the raw unglazed outside of your Ridge Vase, Muuto recommend using an uncoloured brush or dish sponge with warm water. Not suitable for the dishwasher.

Beige and Off-White vases are made of earthenware.
Terracotta vases are made from clay-based Terracotta.
Glazed on the inside and raw on the outside.
