This webpage is for the additional leaves to fit Fritz Hansen's Selandia Extendable Table.

The Selandia series combines gentle curves and Nordic design with subtle French influences, evoking memories of summer evenings outdoors. Designed in collaboration with Danish designer Mogens Holmriis, the Selandia Extendable Table features a clever folding mechanism that allows it to be neatly stored away when not in use.

Made from untreated teak with brass details, the slatted tabletop offers a sturdy yet refined finish. The gaps between the slats allow water to drain, helping the surface dry quickly after rain. Curved crossover legs support the oval, stadium-shaped tabletop, which can be extended using one or two extension leaves, sold separately. With a generous 180 cm tabletop, the table comfortably seats up to 8 people. When extended to 280 cm, it provides space for 12. A central hole allows for an umbrella, and a brass cover neatly conceals it when not in use.

Suitable for use outdoors all year round.

Materials/Construction

Untreated solid teak (Wood origin: Indonesia, Brazil, Panama, Costa Rica).

Teak furniture has natural colour variations found in freshly cut wood. Once exposed to sunlight, these variations will even out. Untreated teak will naturally turn a pale silver tone if exposed to sunlight. As part of the ageing process, the surface of teak may change when first exposed to rain. This marks the initial stage of the wood's natural ageing, developing character over time.
