An honest-looking bench features just the right details: a contrast between round and sharp edges, visible wood grain, and proportions that are both solid and light. The Workshop Bench is an understated piece of Scandinavian design, complete with harmonious craftsmanship, detailing and built to last. Designed to stand on its own, it serves as an ideal addition to narrow spaces like hallways or as a statement piece in any environment.

Cecile Manz on the design “Design processes can be chaotic. The path to the moment of clarity – namely the final product - often leads through a forest of doubt and disorder. Among growing piles of model foam, dust, cardboard, wood and coffee you find a surprisingly creative place - sometimes to produce a needle it takes a haystack. 'Workshop bench’s design is deliberately simple, almost archetypical, giving it a quiet, clean strength. The frame of solid oak harmoniously blends in with the seat and back made of laminated hardwood veneer, thereby eliciting a light yet robust expression.”
