Materials/Construction
Shell - Injection moulded polypropylene with armrest. Fully upholstery with quilted front.
Foam - (CMHR) - 20 mm foam on the seat, 15 mm foam on the backrest and 20 mm wadding.
Base - 4 star swivel base in cast aluminium with wheels.
Wheels - Soft wheels standard on all. Suitable for all floorings.
Black base / all shells = black wheels.
White base / all shells = white wheels with grey rubber.
Polished base / all shells = black wheels.
Among HAY's ongoing initiatives to reduce their ecological footprint, is the introduction of water-based lacquer on a selection of their wooden furniture. The environmental benefits are clear - the new lacquer does not contain any harmful substances and is used on FSC wood sourced from sustainable forests. The lacquer fulfils all the EU Ecolabel requirements.
