Inspired by traditional Indian water vessels, Tom Dixon’s Beat Waist features a subtle waist-like curve that narrows in the middle and widens towards the base, creating an elegant, sculptural silhouette. Made from hand-spun brass sculpted by artisan craftsmen in Northern India, the creation of this Beat Light is part of an ancient process that takes four days to complete. Through traditional craftsmanship, the hand-hammered inside of the shade adds a charming and unique accent to the design: Light is refracted and warmed by the natural tone of the brass itself.
This pendant light’s sleek design offers geometric character that enhances both illumination and visual appeal in any room. The wide opening spreads light evenly beneath, creating a soft, welcoming glow. The 2.5m black cable also allows for easy adjustment to your preferred height.
