Chris Martin がデザインした Massproductions Dandy コレクションは、2015 年に発売されました。 Dandy という名前は、18 世紀に登場した概念を指しており、「ダンディ」とは、衣服にある種の贅沢さを備えた中流階級の男性を指す言葉です。見た目も繊細な味わいと上品さを表現したい。ダンディ コレクションは、エレガンス、威厳、美しさ、態度など、ダンディに関連する特定の価値観を表現しています。 2人掛けのソファは、2人が並んで座ったり、肘掛けを背もたれとして1人用の長椅子として座ったりできる広々としたスペースを提供します。
ダンディのデザインは、その曲線的なフォルムがゲスト同士を向かい合わせることで交流を促し、オープンスペースに置くことで部屋に新たな動きのパターンを生み出します。洗練された座り心地のダンディソファは、どんな空間にも家庭的な雰囲気をもたらします。柔らかく有機的な感触のおかげで、ソファは部屋に自由に配置でき、興味深いエリアやその周りに流れる小道を作り出すことができます。
クリス・マーティンはデザインについて次のように述べています。「ダンディでは、部屋、家、公共スペースの家具の置き方に遊び心を奨励したいと考えました。マグナスはオークションで 30 年代のソファを見つけました。それは素敵な丸みを帯びた形でした。長方形のソファはどこでも見かけます。私たちは忘れられかけていたこの形からインスピレーションを受けました。」
