イームズ RAR プラスチック アームチェア RE は、モダニズム建築運動を象徴する象徴的なデザインです。プラスチックアームチェアは、1950年にニューヨーク近代美術館の有名なコンペティション「低コスト家具デザイン」の一環としてチャールズ＆レイ・イームズによって初めて発表されました。 65 年以上経った今でも、そのデザインは今までと同じように個性的で目を楽しませてくれます。
グラスファイバー強化プラスチックで作られた有機的な形状のシートシェルは、後に RAR のメープルロッカーなど、さまざまな異なるベースと組み合わされました。最新バージョンでは再生ポリプロピレンを使用し、形状を若干変更することでさらに快適な座り心地を実現しました。 RAR はロッキング アームチェア ロッド ベースの略です。
再生ポリプロピレンのシートシェルは全体が染色されており、椅子の鮮やかな色を永遠に保ち、傷もしっかりと隠します。シートベースはスチール製で、織り交ぜられた金属クロスブレースがエッフェル塔に似ています。金属加工は、クロムまたはベーシックダーク (ブラック) パウダーコーティング仕上げのいずれかでご利用いただけます。ロッカーはメープル無垢材で、クリアラッカー仕上げまたはダークステインとラッカー仕上げのいずれかです。

Due to the composition of the recycled material, the seat shell colours feature very subtle specks of pigment.
Special additives retard the fading of colours due to UV radiation. However, if the chair is exposed to sunlight for prolonged periods, the colour may change over time. We recommend limited exposure to sunlight.
