Designed by Julien Renault, the Layout Armchair 221 and 222 variants offer a flexible and innovative design with a focus on comfort, functionality and circularity. Characterised by an opening in the backrest, this feature enhances comfort and lends the chair a light, transparent appearance.
Featuring rounded wooden legs that provide stability and a timeless appeal, all chair components are designed to be fully disassembled to extend the lifespan and allow for refurbishment over time. The shell is crafted as a single piece with integrated armrests, enhancing durability and offering flexible support.
Made from a minimum of 96% post-consumer recycled plastic, the shell is available in a variety of colours and can be paired with veneered oak, black oak or walnut seat options. The water-based lacquered solid wood legs, reinforced with an aluminium support plate, provide strength and balance, complementing the shell’s elegant expression and ensuring long-lasting durability. With its clean, minimal design, the Layout Armchair is suitable for use from dining to office settings, in both home and public spaces.
