リザルトチェアは、1960年代にオランダの多くの学校で使用されていた古典的なモダニストチェアです。象徴的なチェアが新しいモデルとカラーでアップデートされ、アームレストも追加されました。もともとこのコレクションは、20 世紀半ばにオフィス家具専門店アーレンドで働いていたときにフリソ クレイマーとヴィム リートフェルトによって作成されましたが、HAY とアーレンドが協力して再起動および改訂されました。
構想以来、鋼材製造とゴム引きプラスチックの両方で製造の改善が行われてきました。これにより、HAY はオリジナルと同じ強度を保ちながら、より軽くなるように椅子を再加工することができました。より柔軟なスチール製バックサポートと成型合板の間の巧みな接合により、柔軟性も向上し、ユーザーの快適性も向上します。
順応性があり、軽くて丈夫であるように作られたリザルトチェアとピラミッドテーブルは、鋼板の切り出し構造の最終決定版です。 1950 年代に初めて発売されたとき、鋼板の革新的な使用の勝利とみなされ、有機的な形状の製品の使用に新しい方向性を与えました。現在、個々の作品としてもコレクションとしても、素材の使用を控えめにし、シンプルな構造で、動きやすい軽さで知られています。これらの永続的なデザインは、数世代にわたって実際の環境で証明されてきた優れた機能性と美的軽さを明らかにしています。

Seat and Back - Moulded plywood, top veneer in oak.10 mm
Base - Powder coated sheet steel base.

Glider - Plastic.
Hay furniture is now treated with an eco-friendly water based lacquer. Where the new treatment is used it will also always be applied to FSC certified wood sourced from sustainable forests. Together the material fulfils the EU Ecolabel requirements.
This chair is currently available in the following fabrics and leather - a small selection of which are shown on the product listing. Upholstery is grouped by number 1-6; the higher the number the greater the cost. Please get in touch for a bespoke quote if you would like a fabric listed here which isn't available to buy online.
