Designed by Belgian artist duo Muller Van Severen, the Standing Lamp No.1 continues the visual language of their signature Hanging Lamp series. Both feature a simple curved line with a bulb at its end, creating a form that resembles a drawing in the air and reflecting the duo’s intuitive and imaginative approach to design.
The lamp comprises two interlocking rods and can be easily assembled by fitting the upper section onto the base. The cable runs discreetly inside the rods, keeping the design clean and uncluttered. It features a classic cone-shaped white glass shade paired with a half-mirrored bulb (included), providing a softly diffused glow. The tripod-like base ensures stability and supports the slender structure. With a height of 190 cm, the lamp is a sculptural statement piece in any interior.
Made from either powder-coated steel or untreated brass tube, the lamp offers a colourful finish that adds character, or a raw finish that ages beautifully over time, developing a subtle patina. Its freestanding design is easy to move and works well in a variety of rooms and settings.
