Constructed from FSC-certified untreated solid teak, the pouf is naturally durable and highly resistant to harsh weather conditions.
If you get caught out by a rain shower, you will like the way the cushion dries quickly. This is thanks to an open-cell structure in the foam which allows both water and air to pass through. Thanks to the high-quality construction, the foam cushion provides firm and comfortable support while seated. Upholstered with Oeko-Tex-certified fabrics, the Virkelyst Pouf is lightfast as well as water and dirt-repellent and even mildew-resistant. As the wood is untreated, each pouf is intended to develop a naturally unique wood patina as it ages. The warm brown colour will gradually soften to a light brown/silver tone.

Oeko-Tex certified fabric is completely free from harmful chemicals and safe for human use. To attain Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification, the fabric has been tested and certified to be free from harmful levels of more than 100 substances known to be harmful to human health.
Over time teak wood will turn a silver colour unless treated. Its high oil content gives it naturally great longevity in outdoor conditions and prevents rotting.
