Designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, the HAY Palissade Park Dining Bench is a modular outdoor seating solution that extends the Palissade collection into public and landscape settings. The curved frame comes in two variants, enabling the benches to be inward-facing, outward-facing, or a combination of the two. When connecting a minimum of two benches, customised seating arrangements can be created in layouts such as circles, waves, and arcs. The configuration can be extended indefinitely by connecting the Palissade Park Dining Bench Add-ons, available in both In and Out versions, enabling flexible seating layouts for a wide range of spaces. For extra comfort, pair the bench with the matching seat cushion.

This starter set includes two inward-facing Palissade Park Dining Benches. It can be used as a standalone configuration or as the starting point for a customised seating arrangement.

Visually light yet reassuringly robust, it combines archetypal furniture references with a restrained, timeless design to create a contemporary outdoor bench that feels instantly familiar. Each individual piece has been carefully engineered to hold the body in perfect balance. There are almost imperceptible, but significant changes to the angles, curves and the juxtaposition between the frame and slats in each different typology.
